Pettus ISD

Thanks to our Pettus ISD Board of Trustees, all of our Pettus Eagle students will be able to take the PSAT, SAT, ASVAB, TSIA or STAAR Release once a year at no cost to our families!!  Each grade will take a specific test each year until they all have an opportunity to take every test by the time they graduate from Pettus Secondary.  Our Eagles will not have to ask if they are going to go to college. Instead, they will ask which college they wish to attend! We are excited to offer this opportunity to our students and families free of charge.

All testing will happen on October 15, 2025.  Each grade level will take a different test.  

6^th graders will take a released STAAR test 

7^th graders will take a released STAAR test

8^th graders will take a released STAAR test or PSAT 

9^th graders will take the Pre-SAT

10^th graders will take the TSIA-2

11^th and 12^th graders will take the SAT, ASVAB, or TSIA-2

We are asking our parents to please ensure that all students are present on that day and avoid appointments, as we will not have a make up for this testing.  Please have your students get a good night’s rest and be ready to test on October 15, 2025. Pettus ISD will be providing breakfast, lunch and a snack during testing.
